Client: Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, District of Columbia
SEDC worked to identify, recruit, and conduct emergency preparedness workshops for people living in Washington, D.C. communities. More than twenty community training sessions were held in D.C. neighborhood clusters, as well as six local business preparedness workshops in different commercial areas of the city through partnerships with D.C. Business Improvement Districts. A full-day Continuity of Operations Planning Conference for D.C. businesses, with special emphasis on preparation for recovery after a disaster, was also held as part of this project.
