Eighteen emergency preparedness trainings were developed and delivered to home health care agencies and other service providers in Washington, D.C., aimed at improving emergency preparedness of clients served.
SEDC also provided person-to-person emergency preparedness trainings to those served by Senior Centers in D.C., and by advocacy groups including the National Federation for the Blind, AARP chapters, and Independent Living Centers in the District. In the second year of the project, preparedness materials and training were delivered to D.C. area Boy Scouts at their Camporee.
